Our technical support team is here to ensure that you have the technology tools and support you need to succeed in your teaching, research, and administrative roles. 

Standard support hours of operation: 8:30 am to 9:30 pm Monday to Friday.

Room Technology Assistance

There are two types of classrooms in the Claude T. Bissell Building: ones supported by Learning Space Management (LSM) and others supported by the Faculty of Information.

Our technical support team provides assistance with projectors, screens, internet connectivity, and more within Faculty-supported classrooms only. For classrooms managed by LSM, their team handles all technical issues.

Software Risk Assessment SupportResources
All software run on University computers, or for teaching administration, are required to be assessed for potential risks.

Phishing and Email Security SupportResources
If you receive an email that you suspect is phishing, and you have NOT interacted with it, report it by selecting the U of T Report Phishing button in Outlook:

  • Having trouble locating the U of T Report Phishing button? Visit the Security Matters web page to learn more.
    If you cannot find the U of T Report Phishing icon, forward the suspicious email as an attachment to: report.phishing@utoronto.ca and delete it from your inbox.
